Wanting to become the new Duke of Loch Loud, Lincoln partakes in many community service events to help restore the village to its former glory and eventually guilt-trips the rest of the family into moving to Scotland forever because they no longer have to share one bathroom. An ardent fan of all thriller movies, classic and contemporary, Sounak chose the keyboard over the proverbial pen to express himself. A master's degree in Literature and a library full of books helped him a lot in doing so. Before ComingSoon, he clattered away on his keyboard, toiling for edutech and fintech companies. Crime documentaries keep him up at night (in a good way), and he has watched enough to plot the perfect crime.

Accidentally breaking their parents’ priceless vase, the kids devise a plan to travel back in time to their wedding day to avoid punishment. If you’re seeking a lively animated series portraying the adventures of Lincoln Loud and his ten siblings, look no further than The Loud House Season 6. Set in the fictional town of Royal Woods, it’s a beloved children’s show on Nickelodeon. Notably, the series contributes positively to the representation of the LGBTQIA+ community in children’s entertainment, normalizing the portrayal of a gay couple, which is crucial for fostering acceptance and understanding among young viewers. Lincoln Loud (voiced by Asher Bishop), the only brother to 10 sisters, convinces the family to travel to Scotland to discover where they came from and finds out they're descendants of royalty.

Rita remarks that her ancestors came from Royal Woods, but Lynn Sr. remarks that he doesn't know where his came from. Lincoln further explains that if they find out, they can take a trip there and learn more about their ancestors. Lisa offers to find out, and, after sending Lynn Sr. through a series of dizzying experiments, does a DNA test using some of his saliva.

Upon crashing into the wall, Lela protects herself by curling into a ball, the crown falls off Morag, and Lincoln falls to the ground so hard, he falls unconscious. Later, in Loch Loud, Lincoln is at work cleaning a chimney, when a flyer suddenly flies into his face, showing only his sisters. Lincoln quickly runs into the town center and discovers to his horror that his sisters are showing off their talents and skills to everyone in Loch Loud. Back at the castle, Lincoln complains that he's once again overshadowed by his sisters.

During dinnertime, Lily feeds some burritos to Lela, and finds that she gets bigger whenever she eats. Later that night, Lucy, trying to contact her deceased ancestors, successfully summons the ghost of the ancestor she resembles, Lucille. Fans of "The Loud House" were able to watch a sneak peek of this rollicking story thanks to a teaser trailer Netflix released back in April (available via YouTube).

Afterward, the Louds sail off for home, waving goodbye to the citizens and their ghostly ancestors at the dock. Shortly after they've left, Bobby arrives in Loch Loud via submarine, but is dismayed to learn that he just missed seeing Lori. As the Louds enter the Scottish town, they find the place is full of oddities, like a door built much higher than the sidewalk, the signs being too jumbled to be comprehended, and a small bell being used in the bell tower.

Back at the castle, Lucille informs Lucy that Morag was actually lying about the royal family getting lost. Through a flashback, Lucille reveals that she and her family were actually coming home from a trip, but were forced into exile when their pet dragon, Lolo, suddenly turned against them and forced Lucille's brother, the Duke, to give up his crown. When Lucy questions why that happened, Lucille believes they might find out from the journal belonging to her family's caretaker and Morag's ancestor, Aggie. However, it is then revealed that Aggie's journal is in the hole that Morag is currently digging up.

The moment he's crowned, Lela, angry over Morag controlling her in an attempt to kill her masters, scoops the deranged former duchess and drops her off on a small rock island far away from Loch Loud. Morag still believes she has won, as she finally got all the peace and quiet to herself, but in a sudden twist of irony, the island is inhabited by a family of seals who constantly bark at each other, making Morag scream in despair. At the castle, the sisters commend Lincoln by saying that passing the crown to Angus was so honorable of him, but question what he said about not feeling as special as them. Lincoln finally confesses to them that the reason he feels this way is because they're all talented in some way and are constantly praised as a result; winning trophies and getting recognized, while he has nothing to show, making him feel like he's not special as them.

As Lincoln and Lily brace for impact, Lela swiftly catches them (on her back) and Morag (with her claws) and flies them back to the courtyard. As she cleans, she begins to lament to a portrait of her ancestor, Aggie, who was responsible for driving the Louds' ancestors away 400 years ago in order to achieve peace and quiet. As Morag continues to suffer from the kids' shenanigans (while also reminding herself it's only for one week), Lincoln announces to Angus his plans on becoming the duke. However, Morag ruins the moment by revealing that Lincoln is only staying in Scotland for a week, causing the citizens to believe they celebrated with a tourist and not a permanent resident. At Angus' suggestion, Lincoln tries to convince his family that they should move to Scotland.

Morag, eavesdropping on the conversation, overhears Lincoln saying that, now that he's the duke, he no longer feels overshadowed by his sisters. After keeping Aggie's journal hidden when Lucy and Lucille ask her about it, Morag suggests to Luna that that she and her other sisters should present their talents to the citizens of Loch Loud so they can let their true selves be known to the public. When Angus reminds him that doing his royal duties will make the people happy, as they've been waiting for 400 years for a new duke, Lincoln agrees to help out.

As Lincoln and Lily embrace themselves for impact, Lela swiftly catches them (on her back) and Morag (with her claws) and flies them back at the castle, where the Louds and Angus witness their arrival. Entering the cave behind the waterfall in the courtyard, Angus tells the two girls that the reason why dragons are celebrated in Loch Loud was because their ancestors had a pet dragon, and before they left, their dragon gave birth to a new one, ready to hatch when the new Louds would arrive. Reaching the end of the cave, they encounter a dragon egg, and when Angus goes to inspect it, he discovers that it hatched. Suddenly, Angus gets tackled, and after a brief scuffle, it's revealed to be a baby dragon who behaves much like a dog. Moved by its cute appearance, they proceed to show the rest of the family, with Lily naming the creature Lela. As the family admires Lela, Lincoln reveals himself wearing the Duke's outfit, and proceeds to walk down the stairs rather elegantly.

After taking a tour of the castle and seeing that there's enough bedrooms for everyone, Lincoln learns that the ancestor he himself resembles, referred to only as the Duke, was the most special member of the family. Angus also explains to Lynn Jr., Lana, and Lily that their ancestors had a pet dragon, who gave birth to a new one before their ancestors left. Bringing them to a cave in the castle courtyard where the family dragon once lived, Angus finds that the dragon's egg has already hatched. They then find the newly-hatched baby dragon, whom Lily names Lela, and show her to the rest of the family.

Later, after having woken up her entire family and bringing them to the main lobby, Lucy introduces them to Lucille Loud, her ancestral double in looks and behavior. This causes the family to be mesmerized by her appearance, expect for Lynn Sr., as he knocks himself out due to his fear of ghosts. The themes by Christopher Lennertz and the official music by Phillip White, it features many songs sung by Oh, Hush! Angus then shows the family members a painting of their ancestors that bears a striking resemblance to them and reveals they ruled the town for many years before sailing away forever. Lincoln eventually learns from Angus that his own ancestral counterpart, the Duke of the family, was the most special member of the family, much to his delight.

The franchise expanded to film with The Loud House Movie on August 20, 2021, followed by A Loud House Christmas on November 26, 2021, A Really Haunted Loud House on September 28, 2023, and The Casagrandes Movie on March 22, 2024. Landing in the courtyard, the Louds thank Lela for saving Lincoln and Lily, and the citizens arrive, thanking the Louds for saving their home and apologizing to Lincoln for doubting him. Lela, having caught the crown with her tail, hands it to Lincoln and the crowd anticipates the moment he puts it on so he can resume his duties as the duke. Lincoln, after some postulating, gives a speech to everyone by telling them that he originally wanted to be the duke as it would mean he would get to feel as special as his sisters, but realized that he was only thinking about himself and not the others. He goes on to say that Angus has constantly reminded him what it truly means to wear the crown, and that's why he's appointing him as the new Duke. Angus initially declines the offer, believing he's just a simple groundskeeper, but after being told by the citizens just how much he does for the town and with the blessings of the ghosts of the ancestors, Angus agrees to take on the new role and Lincoln places the crown on his head.
